Curried Chicken With Ginger Butter Rice

Nasi Ayam with a ginger twist - chicken infused with marinated curry paste and rice cooked with butter. Its always easier to cook with TOPVALU Instant Paste for you Hari Raya special dish.

Ingredients
TOPVALU Instant Chicken Curry Paste 1 Pack
TOPVALU Instant Chicken Rice Paste 1 Pack
Butter 1 tbsp
Chicken drumstick 400g
Tomato and cucumber slices

Step by Step

  • 01

    Marinated 400g chicken with 100g TOPVALU Instant Chicken Curry Paste. Set aside.

  • 02

    Wash rice. Add water in accordance to rice type. Mix and stir TOPVALU Instant Hainanese Chicken Rice paste with butter into rice cooker.

  • 03

    Place marinated chicken into rice cooker and cook rice.

  • 04

    Fluff up cooked rice and leave it inside the rice cooker for 5 minutes for better texture.

    For curry soup, put 20g of TOPVALU Instant Chicken paste into a small bowl and pour hot water. Stir until the taste become even.

  • 06

    Garnish with cucumber and tomatoes. Ready to serve.
